About the Programme
This programme is all about inspiring people around the globe to step forward and take responsibility that no child drops out of the school.
Education is the foundation of our lives. In today’s modern world, a person without education is lame. Although, today there are schools even in the remote areas, there are no students who attend their classes on regular basis. The rate of absenteeism is high in schools which eventually lead to dropping out of students permanently.
There are several factors which are responsible for increased rate of dropouts. However, these factors are neglected and no action is taken to stop children from dropping out from schools. This initiative started by Siddhant Sanghi (Student of Cathedral and John Connon School, Class 12) aims at bringing NGOs and families together to take responsibility of children that are at risk of dropping out from school.
Not only families but also individuals and other organisation can also be part of this initiative to get connected with NGOs and make sure that the concerned children continue schooling. If every individual makes an effort to save a dropout, it will surely help to build the nation into a superpower.
